Eight New Mexico Hospitals Join the Regional Aligning Forces for Quality Transforming Care at the Bedside (AF4Q TCAB) Initiative
Regional AF4Q TCAB is part of an innovative nationwide program led by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF), the nation's largest philanthropy dedicated to improving the health and health care of Americans. AF4Q TCAB engages nurses and other frontline staff to identify areas where care can be enhanced and test ways to improve it. Click here to read the news release announcing this effort.
Albuquerque Coalition for Healthcare Quality Receives $1.7 Million to Continue Participation in Robert Wood Johnson Foundation's Aligning Forces for Quality National Quality Improvement InitiativeThe Albuquerque Coalition for Healthcare Quality announced that it has been selected to receive a grant of $1.7 million over the next two years from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation's Aligning Forces for Quality (AF4Q) initiative. The previous grant funding received from the foundation ended in April 2011. In this next phase of funding, the Coalition will continue the work already implemented in the community, including performance measurement, public reporting and consumer engagement, and continue to meet the goals of a reformed health care system.
