Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Funds Local Organization for Health Information Exchange Study

LCF Reserach was awarded a three-year grant by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF) to evaluate the impact of a health information exchange (HIE) in New Mexico. It is anticipated that the study will show HIE benefits for patients and participating providers by reducing duplicate diagnostic radiology exams and laboratory tests. The funding for this study is provided by the Aligning Forces for Quality: Development Fund, a special funding opportunity from RWJF for organizations within Aligning Forces for Quality (AF4Q) communities. Click here to read the news release and learn more about this study.
